NC State plays in the first “major” tournament of the spring season, with the team traveling to the Carolina Kickoff. Joining traditional powers Pittsburgh and Florida, along with regional foes Carolina, UNC-W, and Virginia, the Ultimate Club look to make their mark at the beginning of the 2015 college season.
The Carolina Kickoff will feature several hundred college athletes who have devoted thousands of hours to conditioning, practicing and working on their skills playing not only at the college level, but in some cases for high-level club teams and the US National team. Players that have been featured on broadcast coverage through NGN, ESPN, UltiWorld and Skyd Ultimate.
Coverage for this particular tournament will be virtually non-existent, with no web site, publicity or online broadcasting. However, if you’re in the Triangle area and are interested in watching the team play some of the best teams in the United States, all games will be played at 1201 Grigsby Avenue, Holly Springs, NC 27540. Maybe there will be a tweet or something about it sometime…

On Saturday (1/24) at 10:00am NC State plays 2012 & 2013 College Champions the University of Pittsburgh. Pitt, along with UNC Chapel Hill, are generally considered to be one of the favorites to win the 2015 College Championships.
It should be a pretty good game to watch.
Select Wolfpack games from the Kickoff will be filmed by local company Stream Sports using their remote controlled elevated cameras. Thanks to Dan from Stream Sports and his support in making this happen.
