2016 Queen City Tune-up

NC State schedule is the 2016 Queen City Tune-up hosted by UNC in Charlotte, NC. The QCTU will be played at Ramblewood Soccer Complex over the weekend of February 6th and 7th.

The tournament is considered one of the strongest college tournaments in the country and this year’s men’s field, along with NC State, features 24 teams including these pre-season top 25  teams: #1 Massachusetts, #2 UNC Wilmington, #5 North Carolina, #8 Harvard, #18 Georgia, #22 JMU, and #25 Michigan.

2016 Queen City Schedule

RESULTS: NC State finished the tournament 4-4, playing teams from all over the US: UNC-W, Michigan, Ohio, Luther, UNC-Asheville, UW-Milwaukee, Virginia, and Iowa State.

UNC-W won the tournament in a thrilling game against US Preseason #1, the University of Massachusetts (UMASS).  UNC-Chapel Hill lost in the semi-finals.

The QCTU will feature coverage from the JinxCam, NC State 25′ high elevated camera system. Coverage includes a series of Meet the Pack promo pieces, including 5 spots featuring 5th year player Rusty Walden.
